Manchester wins in Regional Semi Final

Manchester girls soccer took the trip to Spring Arbor on Tuesday night to take on Plymouth Christian in the Regional Semi Final.

After a scoreless first half it was the Lady Dutch that got on the board first with Hannah Woods poking home after Rayna Edwards had driven into the box and had the ball taken away from her.

Plymouth Christian replied with a goal of their own later in the half.

Game was tied 0 – 0 at the final whistle and the game went into 2 x 10 minute halves of over time.

Manchester managed to control the majority of OT and was able to find the winning goal when Delanie Osborne cut onto her right foot inside the 18 and was able to drive the ball home, Manchester held tight and were able to secure the victory and head into Fridays Regional final at Spring Arbor against Lansing Christian 7pm kickoff
